HAPPY, HAPPY NEW YEAR !!!

My dear family, friends and supporters. 2022 was a stew of transformational ups and downs wasn’t it?. In the coming year, I hope for you so much more of the former.

Last year I saw the publishing of one of my favorite designs PLAINS INDIAN WARS and the 2nd book in my Snakebit series - FIRE-EATERS. Both favorably received by you and by the public at large. Jenny and I ventured across the Iberian Peninsula reveling in Spanish/Portuguese history and cuisine … but you know this if you’ve been following the blog. Unfortunately this year also brought about untold suffering in the Ukraine. I have to tell you, the unjust suffering of the Ukrainian people is constantly on my mind. In this the 21st century - must we really continue to play the deadly, bloody, and senseless game dictators have been playing since the dawn of time?

Ok, enough of that.

What have you planned for 2023? Nothing? Get on with it, my friends. Plan your adventures and live your lives to the fullest. Plan and act on your dreams. Personally, I look forward to the publishing the third novel in my series, GRAYBACKS AND GREENBACKS. I will also see published at least two more of my strategy designs, PONTIAC’S WAR and WOLFE TONES’S RISING. Several others waiting in the wings. Jenny and I also plan on visiting Ireland in the Spring and making a Civil War circuit around the country in the Fall. So much to look forward to.

I pray that 2023 brings an end to the fighting in Ukraine, a softening of partisanship in the U.S., a drop gas prices and an end to endless inflation. Not asking for much am I?

Oh one more thing, I pray for you a restless. generous spirit that you may lighten the load for others and brighten your own outlook on the world. Live long and prosper : )
