That’s Jenny communing with a sculpted gorilla in the artistic wonderland of Lisbon’s LX Factory.

Rua Augusta Gate in the Praca do Comercia adjacent to the Tagus River. Located in the largest Plaza in Europe, the Gate stands 574 feet high and is considered a triumphal arch. It celebrates not a military victory but victory over nature. Following the devastating earthquake of 1755, Lisbon still stands.

An excellent example of the thousands of stone mosaics we found throughout Spain, Portugal and the Azores. An enduring craft bequeathed by the Romans.
