Bibliographies

For every day of writing, I spend 2 to 3 days researching. For a broad understanding of a topic, I often start with Wikipedia, then move on to the American Battlefield Trust websites in question. Thereafter I seek organizational websites and comb my extensive Civil War library for additional period details. Many minor references are listed in my Author Notes. Each volume of the Snakebit series required so many references I felt there were just too many to list in a work of fiction. Therefore, I list here only those volumes that have proven be the most helpful. These are presented in two collections. The Civil War Bibliography covers the first nine novels in the series. The Reconstruction Bibliography covers the last nine novels in the series.
